Mr. Corn Ltd. is seeking reliable and hardworking Catering / Event Cooks to join our team for the remainder of our 2026 catering season. We provide on-site catering for corporate events, schools, private functions, festivals, and large-scale events throughout Toronto and the GTA.

This is a hands-on, event-based role involving food preparation, on-site cooking, grilling and frying, event setup, service, and cleanup. Candidates should be dependable, organized, comfortable working in rapid-paced environments, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

- Food preparation and on-site cooking
- Operating grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment
- Maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Assisting with event setup, service, teardown, and cleanup
- Loading and unloading food, supplies, and equipment
- Working collaboratively with catering staff
- Driving company vehicles to and from events when required and qualified

Qualifications:

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality




- Valid Ontario G driver's licence and clean driving record are a strong asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Available to work a flexible event-based schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, catering, or cooking experience is an asset
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

This is a seasonal, event-based position running through the end of October 2026, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and leadership roles for strong performers.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
