You will joint an established Barrie-based manufacturer where you will work with a team of experienced professionals building and developing complex custom automation equipment. Effective Automation Systems offers a team oriented environment with exceptional work / life balance.

Candidate must have a degree or diploma in Automation Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field. A minimum of 5+ years of controls, robotics, or electro-mechanical experience in an OEM integrator setting such as automotive, medical or similar. Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel to the USA and Mexico.

Experience with:

o Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming

o Omron PLC (must have)

o Safety PLC programming

o Field bus networks (Ethernet IP, IO-Link, etc.)

o ABB or Fanuc robots
