Field Service Technician Assistant - beginner position for one interested in in getting trained in the filed of 'generators' - a growing sector. includes general mechanical, electrical, and Labour work assisting all field service work/projects; requiring combination of experience, education, and ability - willing/ able to learn work involving generators; looking for someone locally in Niagara Region.

This service & maintenance position is responsible to do/ assist with performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment, specifically generator related but not limited to that area only. Work is usually outside - but can be in/on buildings & in vehicles. Job will include some general labour work as required such as pouring cement pads for the generators, cleaning up job sites, shop, truck/ trailers.

Areas of skill/ ability that would be helpful to start are to include,



mechanical/ motors/alternators, electronic, controls/ programming, basic fundamentals of electrical, ability to trouble-shoot, diagnosis, repair and service; physically able to lift, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and no issue with getting dirty; can follow & fill in log sheets & write report of conditions found. We are looking for someone who is interested in specializing in the field of generators.

In addition to the skill set, the technician should be comfortable in dealing with the public, managers, and other tradespersons. Requesting - own PPE, own vehicle & clear driving record, can drive with trailers.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
