We have a new position available at our Inland Way facility as follows:

Salary: To be determined based on qualifications and experience
Reports to: Operations Manager or, in his absence, National Operations Manager

Description: This is a supervisory position responsible for all maintenance aspects of Inland Way Location.

Primary Duty: Supervise the operations of the Maintenance Department and related building systems and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure smooth, safe operation of facility.

Responsibilities:

- Supervises and leads Maintenance Team in accordance with plant/company policies and procedures.
- Prioritizes workload, schedules maintenance duties and staff and works with Operations Manager on day to day activities
- Provide communication between Operations Manager and Supervisors in the area where maintenance is being worked on
- Coordination with outside trades and contractors as assigned by Operations Manager
- Responsible for installation of new processes under direction of Operation Manager or National Operations Manager
- Operate within standard operating procedures and requirements of ISO and RD systems.
- Complete documentation and paperwork as per job duties
- Maintain a clean and safe plant
- Spare parts ordering and inventory input of same
- Maintains inventory of spare parts and requests quotes for replenishment
- Prepares reports for project status, PM Recommendation for capital budgets
- Installs, repairs and maintains equipment as part of PM Team
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager on a day-to-day basis

Requirements:

- Journeyman certification in an applicable maintenance trade: Instrument Tech, Electrician,



Millwright or Pipefitter
- Minimum of 3 years of direct supervisory experience is required
- Proven decision making and critical thinking skills.

- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Communication Skills
- People Skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
- Following direction while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace
- Abiding by Company policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
- Previous Experience in trade in applicable work environment is beneficial
- Overtime / weekend work as needed based on maintenance and new project needs

Hours of operation 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
