DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES

- Provide an exceptional and welcoming first impression to our guests upon arrival
- Responsible for welcoming and greeting guests
- Handle all guest enquiries professionally and courteously
- Check in guests and record information on the ResortSuite system
- Receive payment, provide wrist band, assign items such as bath robes, towels, etc
- Provide in-depth information on the Spa layout, explanation of pools, saunas, and relaxation areas
- Escort guest to locker rooms if requested
- Carry out all front desk activities including distributing correspondence, answering calls and emails, making reservations, and confirming massage reservations
- Promote all facilities at Vettä Nordic Spa, including boutique, restaurants, and amenities, as well as any promotions or programs
- Ensure front desk area is always clean and tidy
- May be required to walk around the spa area to ensure guests' needs are met
- Willing to cross train in other departments of the Spa, such as Front of House and Maintenance, to help when needed
- Other duties that may be required to make Vetta successful

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

- Previous customer service experience in hospitality,



guest services or retail, preferably in a Spa environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to handle guest complaints proactively and respectfully, always remaining skilled
- Proven ability to multitask, manage time efficiently while staying organized
- Able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and be self-motivated
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Must acquire Smart Serve Certification prior to hire
- First Aid/CPR Certificate is an asset
- Second language is an asset
- Knowledge of ResortSuite is an asset
- Required to work a rotating schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Able to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Comfortable sitting, walking, bending, and standing over an 8-hour period
- May be required to lift up to 20lbs
