We are looking for an experienced Winter Equipment Operator – Loader who takes pride in operating heavy equipment safely, understands the responsibility that comes with maintaining commercial sites, and performs well in fast-moving winter conditions.

What You’ll Do

- Operate loaders equipped with snow and ice attachments
- Transparent commercial parking lots, roadways, entrances, and service areas
- Relocate snow efficiently while protecting pavement, curbs, landscaping, structures, and vehicles
- Respond to dispatch calls during snowfalls and severe weather events
- Complete daily pre-operational inspections
- Report equipment defects, hazards, and safety concerns promptly
- Maintain communication with dispatch and operations regarding site conditions and progress




- Keep equipment clean, fueled, and ready for deployment
- Accurately record hours, inspections, service notes, and exceptions
- Follow all Health and Safety policies and wear required PPE
- Support other crews and contribute to a team-first operating environment

What We’re Looking For

- Valid G-Class Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Proven experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment
- Experience operating in snow, winter, construction, agriculture, or landscaping environments
- Strong awareness of property protection and equipment safety
- Ability to work safely in cold, wet, dark, and high-pressure conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the dispatch location
- Comfortable using a smartphone for communication and reporting
- Availability for evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and storm-call shifts

Pay: $27.00-$37.00 per hour

Application question(s):

- Do you hold a valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a satisfactory driving record?
- Are you available to work on call, 24/7, including overnight shifts, weekends and holidays, based on winter weather events?
- Are you able to reliably report to our London location within [60–90 minutes] of being called in, including during active snowstorms?
- Do you have reliable transportation that allows you to report to work during active snowstorms and overnight hours?
- Do you have previous experience safely operating a front-end loader or comparable heavy equipment?
- Have you previously operated a loader for snow and ice removal?
- Are you comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications to receive assignments, communicate with Operations, navigate between sites, take photographs and document completed work?
- Are you comfortable working independently, following site maps and adjusting priorities based on direction from Operations?
