POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Refueler to join our aviation operations team. The Refueler is responsible for performing aircraft fueling and related ramp operations in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position operates fuel trucks and ground support equipment, maintains fuel quality and equipment, completes required documentation, and provides professional service while following all company, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible to clean and maintain Fuel Trucks (daily checks, periodic inspections & monthly preventative maintenance).
· Strict adherence to safety rules while performing all duties, including ground, ramp, and equipment use.
· Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and protected work environment.
· Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
· Aircraft Fuelling, Movement, Placement and Inventory Control of Aviation fuel.
· Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service.
· Manoeuvre trucks into loading and/or unloading positions.
· Fuel Quality Control on Fuel trucks and Fuel tanks.
· Responsible for cleaning GSE equipment and buildings.
· Operate various types of ground service equipment.
· Determine needed supplies and equipment.
· Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications:
· Physical requirements include considerable use of your arms and legs, climbing, lifting 60lbs repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
· Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive member of the TNDC Team
· Knowledge of aviation refuelling equipment and associated equipment is preferred.
· Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
· Previous experience in the aviation industry in a similar role would be an asset.
· Basic mathematics, trouble shooting skills and excellent attention to detail.
· Must work in all types of weather conditions, including inclement weather.
· Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement is required.
· Clear Driver’s Abstract is required as a condition of employment.
· Must work shift work, weekends, overtime and stat holidays.
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
· Able to lift or move up to 60 lbs independently.
· A strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
· First Aid and CPR would be an asset.
· Able to work in confined spaces.
· Punctual, reliable and diligent.
Working Conditions:
· Ability to lift and handle luggage, cargo, and equipment up to 60 lbs.
· Exposure to noise from aircraft operations and ground equipment.
· Work performed in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, wind, rain, and snow.
· Variable schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Shift work may be required to align with flight schedules.
· Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
· Strict adherence to airport safety and security protocols.
· Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, high-visibility vests, and safety footwear.
· Work independently and collaboratively with other TNDC Airport Services team members and airline personnel

Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members, especially local Tahltan workers, by sharing technical skills, safety practices, and industry knowledge in a respectful and culturally aware manner. Uphold Tahltan values and principles by fostering a work environment built on respect, teamwork, and mutual learning. Support the growth of the Tahltan workforce by helping build capacity, promoting safe and effective work practices, and ensuring that knowledge is passed on to strengthen both the team and the broader Tahltan community for the benefit of current and future generation.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
· Pass mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol test
· The ability to repetitively lift/move up to 60 lbs. and maintain high levels of performance throughout shift.
· Ability to maintain performance during duration of shift and extreme weather conditions.
· Willingness to learn all airport operations and to be a team player to ensure operations run smoothly.
· Wear suitable attire for all weather conditions and ensure the use of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)
