247 Fulfillment is hiring three full-time Warehouse Packers at our Mississauga fulfillment centre.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role. You will use ShipHero and an RF barcode scanner to verify, pack, label and stage ecommerce and wholesale orders. Packing speed and accuracy are tracked. The right person works quickly without sending the wrong item or a poorly packed shipment.
Responsibilities
- Pack ecommerce and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently
- Scan each item to confirm the correct SKU and quantity
- Choose the right carton and packing materials for each order
- Follow client-specific packing instructions
- Protect products properly to prevent damage in transit
- Seal, label and stage completed shipments by carrier
- Check products for damage and verify shipping labels
- Report missing inventory, damaged items and order discrepancies
- Keep packing stations clean, organized and stocked
- Help with sorting, restocking and other warehouse duties as needed
- Follow warehouse procedures and health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Warehouse packing, fulfillment or shipping experience is preferred
- Experience with barcode scanners or warehouse management software is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to maintain a rapid, steady pace without sacrificing packing quality
- Comfortable having packing productivity and error rates tracked
- Able to repeatedly lift boxes weighing up to 50 lb
- Able to stand, bend, lift and move throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Able to reliably commute to 2550 Stanfield Rd for a 7:00 a.m. start
- Must provide and wear CSA-approved safety footwear
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be offered during high-volume periods
Pay and position
- $20.00 per hour
- Full-time, permanent
- On-site parking
- Training on ShipHero and client packing standards
- Room to take on more responsibility based on performance
