About the Position
Charles Jones Industrial Limited is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our Stoney Creek branch as a Shipper / Receiver / Warehouse Support team member.
This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for supporting the movement of products into and out of the branch. The successful candidate will help ensure incoming shipments are received accurately, customer orders are prepared and shipped on time, inventory remains organized, and the warehouse operates safely and efficiently.
The position may also involve occasional deliveries or pickups as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect products for accuracy and condition.
- Verify incoming materials and ensure products are properly received and stored.
- Pick, pack, prepare, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Organize outgoing shipments and ensure orders are ready for dispatch.
- Put away incoming stock and maintain orderly warehouse locations.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with loading and unloading products as required.
- Provide general warehouse support wherever needed.
- Complete occasional deliveries or pickups.
- Work closely with other branch team members to support day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or related experience.
- Dependable and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment.
- Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable assisting with deliveries and pickups when required.
