Key Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service and Guest Experience

- Greet guests warmly, build rapport, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present food and beverage menus and explain daily specials.
- Offer recommendations for both food and craft beer pairings.
- Promptly address any customer concerns or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell specials and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.

Order and Payment Processing

- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash and process credit/debit payments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and present bills to guests.

Beverage and Food Service

- Possess a strong knowledge of various beer styles, brewing processes, and tasting notes to discuss with guests.
- Pour and serve craft beers using proper techniques and appropriate glassware.
- Serve food and drinks to tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation.
- Monitor guests' alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible service laws and company policies.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of beverages and food to maintain quality and
- safety standards.

Restaurant and Teamwork Operations

- Perform opening and closing duties, such as cleaning, stocking service stations, and preparing glassware.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work and dining areas.
- Assist team members and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills





Experience and Certifications

- Previous food and beverage service or hospitality experience is often preferred, typically 1-2 years.
- A valid Smart Serve, or equivalent alcohol service certification, is usually required.
- Knowledge of food handling regulations is a plus.

Working Conditions

- Brewery servers are typically required to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The job involves standing and walking for extended periods and may require lifting items such as kegs or cases up to 50 lbs.
- The environment can be busy and noisy at peak times.

Compensation:

- $17.60 per hour, Plus Gratuities

Reports To: General Manager or Supervisor

Hours:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Must be available to work holidays, weekends and occasional extended hours up to 2 AM to 3AM.
