Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus and recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting smooth restaurant operations




- Assist in maintaining a clean dining area by clearing tables, resetting for recent guests, and adhering to sanitation protocols
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy periods through effective time management and teamwork

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel POS is a plus but training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment through excellent time management
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items while maintaining guest satisfaction
