Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Manage food preparation tasks including assembling food items, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed consistently to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle cashier duties including cashing out customers accurately and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas while managing time effectively during busy periods.
Experience
- Proven barista experience in a fast-paced food or beverage environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong background in food service with knowledge of food preparation and handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices in the food industry.
