Maliya Wellness Centre for Women, Teens & Children is looking for a Manual Osteopathic Therapist to join our growing team in Cochrane, Alberta.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing individualized, hands-on care and is interested in building a thriving practice within an established multidisciplinary wellness centre.

This is an independent contractor position, with commission paid bi-monthly via direct deposit.

Responsibilities

- Provide individualized osteopathic assessments and treatments based on each client’s needs
- Develop appropriate treatment plans and recommendations
- Educate clients and communicate clearly regarding their care and progress
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential client documentation
- Maintain a clean,



professional and safe treatment environment
- Collaborate with other Maliya practitioners when appropriate to provide integrated client care
- Provide a warm, professional and exceptional client experience consistent with Maliya’s standards of care

Requirements

- Graduate of a recognized osteopathic manual practice program
- Registered and in good standing with a recognized osteopathic association in Alberta
- Eligible to practise and maintain appropriate qualified liability insurance in Alberta
- Current professional liability insurance
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, warm, reliable and client-focused
- Committed to maintaining a consistent schedule
- Experience working with women, teens and/or children is an asset
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work alongside other practitioners and modalities to support the overall well-being of our clients
- Ability to attend our monthly staff meeting, virtually or in person, on the second Friday of each month at 12:30 p.m.

We are looking for someone who wants to become an active part of the Maliya team, develop robust relationships with clients and fellow practitioners, and build a successful long-term practice within our centre.
