Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards, as well as the ability to collaborate with other trades on-site. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain various types of roofing systems including shingles, tiles, and metal roofs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for roofing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installation and repair processes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
- Apply caulking, stucco, and other materials as needed for waterproofing and finishing.




- Assist in the fabrication of roofing components as required by specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

- Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and metal stud framing is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required.
- Experience in restoration, remodeling, concrete forming, tile laying, welding, and trim carpentry will be considered an asset.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is necessary for understanding site dynamics and safety practices.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $19.50-$41.46 per hour
