Job Responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance & Repair

- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on trucks, trailers, small engines and heavy equipment
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and scheduled equipment inspections, reporting deficiencies immediately
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform or coordinate necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records for all equipment worked on

Shop & Site Support

- Maintain a clean and organized shop, tools, and work environment
- Support fuelling, greasing, and general upkeep of equipment and vehicles
- Work collaboratively with the Industrial Service Manager and Rental Equipment Manager on equipment readiness

Safety & Compliance Responsibilities

- Following all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) standards, company secure work procedures, hazard assessments, and emergency protocols




- Ensuring compliance through all required safety certifications
- Wearing required PPE at all times in the shop/yard and on sites
- Utilizing spotters when reversing or maneuvering equipment in confined areas
- Refraining from operating equipment under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or while fatigued
- Immediately reporting mechanical issues, damage, near misses, or incidents
- Maintaining clean, organized, and secure vehicles, equipment, and shop areas
- Accurately completing all required logs, inspection forms, and documentation

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
