Senior Corporate Accountant (CPG / Brand Development)

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Senior Corporate Accountant who loves unraveling complex data sets and managing international financial moving parts. In this role, you won't just match spreadsheets—you will play a key part in managing our Accounts Receivable function, including following up on customer payments, managing and resolving customer deductions, obtaining supporting documentation, and maintaining accurate customer accounts. You will also support commissions, royalties, inventory accounting, and the month-end closing process, working closely with Sales, Customer Service, and other teams to resolve customer and accounting issues.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

Master the Retail Deductions & Partner Commissions

- You'll act as a financial detective, investigating complex major-retailer deductions, trade promotions, and pricing discrepancies common in the national CPG retail world.
- You will accurately calculate monthly sales commissions and global brand royalties, ensuring our growth drivers and partners are rewarded perfectly.
- You will own our Accounts Receivable lifecycle, ensuring major customer payments are followed up, accurately recorded and applied on time.

Drive the Month-End Close & Reporting Rhythm





- You will accelerate our monthly close process by preparing precise journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- You'll compile monthly financial statements and management reports that give our leadership crystal-clear visibility into brand performance.
- You'll streamline our year-end audit preparation to keep our compliance flawless.

Govern North American Inventory & Manufacturing Costs

- You will manage the financial lifecycle of our supply chain, tracking inventory accounting, landed costs, and variances across our sweet and salty SKU portfolio.
- You will align our international manufacturing reality with our digital financial ledger, ensuring costing accuracy.

What You Bring to the Table

Deep CPG Accounting Roots

- You have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, specifically grounded in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), especially experience working with retailers, distributors, or other high-volume customer environments.

Technical & Analytical Elite

- You are highly proficient in Sage 300 (or similar ERP systems) and can navigate high volumes of international data transactions seamlessly.
- Your Excel skills are advanced—XLOOKUPs, nested formulas, PivotTables, and messy data manipulation are your absolute comfort zone.
- You possess natural curiosity to spot process bottlenecks and recommend smoother, automated ways of corporate reporting.

The Soft Skills

- You are highly organized and excited by the quick-moving pace of global brand building.
- You communicate financial concepts clearly and collaborate easily with Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Logistics.

Asset: You either hold a CPA designation or are actively working toward completing it.

Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Reports To: Director of Finance

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
