Full-Time Painter – GCT Contracting Inc.

GCT Contracting is looking for a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented painter to join our growing team. We specialize in insurance restoration, residential renovations, and commercial construction throughout the Lower Mainland.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and masking
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Complete interior and exterior painting to a professional standard
- Protect flooring, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding work areas
- Perform drywall repairs and minor surface preparation as required
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Inspect completed work and complete touch-ups when necessary
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, trades, and customers

Qualifications:

- Previous skilled painting experience is preferred




- Experience with insurance restoration and residential renovations is an asset
- Knowledge of proper surface preparation and paint application techniques
- Spray-finishing experience is considered an asset
- Comfortable using ladders, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred
