We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bodyman to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition by repairing, sanding, and refinishing damaged body parts. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and safety, providing our customers with reliable and visually appealing repairs. Responsibilities
- Repair and reshape damaged vehicle bodies using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Sand, smooth, and prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing to achieve a flawless finish.
- Install or replace body panels, fenders, doors, and other structural components with precision.
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the best repair approach while adhering to safety standards.
- Use heavy lifting techniques safely when handling large or heavy parts during repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure repairs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience as a Bodyman or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, dollies, grinders, and sanders.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively in automotive repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy vehicle parts regularly while maintaining proper safety protocols.
- Knowledge of automotive painting, refinishing processes, and surface preparation is a plus.
- Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
