Compensation: $23.00/hour during 3-month probation period increases to $25.00/hour after successful completion.

​At We Can Move, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, efficient, and stress-free moving services to our clients. We are looking for a reliable, physically fit, and motivated individual to join our team as a Contract Mover on an on-call basis.

​The Role & Schedule:

​This is a contractual, on-call position rather than full-time employment. Work hours will vary based on booking volumes, making it an ideal fit for individuals seeking to supplement their income with a highly flexible side gig.

​Ideal Candidate Profile: This role is perfect for someone who already manages a flexible schedule—such as a taxi driver, rideshare driver, or independent contractor—and can accept shifts on short notice.

​Key Responsibilities:

​Carefully pack, load, transport, and unload household or office furniture and items.

​Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients' belongings are handled with the utmost care and respect.

​Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.





​Safely navigate and commute to various job sites or the main office location.

​Collaborate effectively with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely.

​Job Requirements:

​License & Transit: Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and have a reliable personal vehicle to commute to and from work/job sites.

​Flexibility: High availability for on-call shifts and a highly flexible schedule.

​Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items, walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.

​Safety Certification: Must obtain WorkSafeBC coverage before starting.

​Note: "We Can Move" will provide full assistance to help you obtain this coverage prior to your start date.
