Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of dental hygiene practices. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing preventive oral health services, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and supporting overall dental health initiatives. Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing materials and ensuring a sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.




- Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs while fostering a positive experience.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans focused on preventive care.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques, tools, and industry best practices.

Skills

- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances is highly desirable.
- Experience in dental assisting enhances the ability to support clinical workflows efficiently.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry ensures compassionate care for young patients.
- Robust customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all patients.
- Understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental health is essential for accurate documentation and communication.
