Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance Team.

The position, under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, is primarily responsible for the maintenance of all equipment, buildings, and janitorial services at Golden Windows.

Responsibilities

- Supervise maintenance and facilities staff (custodians, skilled trades, technicians, etc.) and external contractors
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and health & safety standards for staff and 3rd party contractors
- Control activities like waste disposal, building security, and janitorial services etc.
- Monitor equipment and spare parts inventory and place orders when necessary
- Responsible for installation of new equipment, and relocation/disposal of existing equipment
- Responsible for monitoring and minimizing equipment downtime
- Maintaining and improving preventative maintenance program
- Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance activities




- Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols for staff and 3rd party contractors
- Develop maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules
- Assist with Preparing department budgets
- Perform PM and repairs alongside Maintenance staff as required and as time allows
- After hours availability to address critical facility related issues
- Other duties as assigned

Education, Knowledge, Experience

- Engineering pr college degree, skilled trades certification, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years Leadership experience preferred
- Experience with CNC machines and automated equipment required
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Certification in Maintenance Management is preferred
