We are seeking an Aircraft Systems Installation Integrator to support the physical integration of aircraft systems by developing and maintaining installation designs for equipment, ducts, pipes, tubes, hoses, brackets, supports, and associated interfaces.
In this role, you will independently perform engineering assignments, contribute to technical decisions within established practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful aircraft systems integration.
Key Responsibilities
Installation Design & Integration
- Develop and review 3D installation layouts, equipment arrangements, routing definitions, supports, assemblies, and detail drawings for assigned aircraft systems (excluding electrical wiring).
- Define physical interfaces, clearances, access requirements, attachment concepts, and installation provisions for equipment, ducts, pipes, tubes, hoses, and related hardware.
- Balance installation requirements with safety, maintainability, manufacturability, assembly considerations, weight, cost, and aircraft zone constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate installation definitions with System Functional Engineering, Structures, Stress, Interiors, Thermodynamics, Aerodynamics, Safety, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintainability, and Mass Properties teams.
- Manage spatial integration activities and resolve clashes, access limitations, installation sequencing concerns, and interface discrepancies.
- Coordinate technical definitions with partners, suppliers, and operations teams as required.
Compliance, Verification & Product Support
- Support design reviews, installation compliance activities, verification and validation efforts, qualification programs, and certification activities.
- Provide technical solutions for production, supplier,
ground-test, flight-test, and in-service installation issues.
- Manage engineering changes, assess impacts, and maintain configuration and product data within the applicable PLM setting.
Additional Responsibilities
- Own assigned design activities from initial concept through release, with support available for non-routine decisions.
- Perform technical reviews, investigate issues, and recommend solutions using established engineering methods and standards.
- Provide reliable project status, identify risks early, and support less-experienced colleagues on familiar tasks.

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- A technologist degree may be considered based on relevant experience.
- Typically 2 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
Technical Knowledge
- Aircraft systems installation and physical integration.
- Installation and routing of equipment, ducts, pipes, tubes, hoses, brackets, and supports.
- Clearance analysis, accessibility, maintainability, installation sequencing, environmental considerations, and aircraft zone constraints.
- Engineering drawings, GD&T;, manufacturing methods, certification fundamentals, and configuration control.
Tools & Methods
- Experience with CATIA V5, ENOVIA, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of NX and Teamcenter is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of PLM, product definition, engineering change management, and configuration management processes.
Professional Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Sound judgment, analytical problem-solving skills, organization, and accountability.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English required.
- French is considered an asset.
If you have experience with aircraft systems integration, installation design, CATIA V5, and cross-functional engineering collaboration, we encourage you to apply. ✈️
