Compensation:
52,500.00 - 98,300.00 CAD Annual
Purpose
Within the greater Inbound Logistics organization, the Analyst role will act as the dedicated resource for managing performance & financial data and the respective reporting for team KPI objectives.
The Analyst, Inbound Logistics, will additionally participate and contribute collaboratively with the Supply Chain Manager on data mining and providing analytics related to supplier freight programs and new customer onboardings/freight quotes.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on logistics KPIs, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc as needed
- Provide visuals and summaries around team performance and key financials
- Produce content for the greater Logistics team for simple consumption and facilitation
- Extract data from TMS, VRFS, IDS, Insights, Cognos, etc. to create actionable insights for growth opportunity
- Develop reporting solutions for opportunities presented by department leaders
- Accommodate ad-hoc reporting needs / deep-dives upon request
- Monitor / audit freight revenue application accuracy and market relevance
- Assist the Supply Chain Manager with freight quote development, supplier analysis, Sourcing requests, etc.
- Participate in the current CMU customer onboarding process
- Maintain supplier freight programs in FRDT (Freight Rate Database Tool) as needed
- Update published freight programs to IDS via CFM (Centralized Freight Management)
- Manage the True FOB supplier Sysco Fuel Surcharge program via CFM
Process Improvement:
- Identify and assist with the implementation of new logistics conversions to achieve continuous LEI and CPU growth
- Analyze supplier published freight programs and current state TFOB rates for accuracy and improved Sysco equity
- Interpret potential opportunities from reporting generated by other departments / sources
- Simplify data presentation for the greater Logistics team for create quicker actionable insights
- Use increased levels of technology to modernize current state Logistics reporting
Collaboration:
- Continuous cross-functional engagement with the overall Logistics Org to successfully advance initiatives and achieve KPI objectives
- Ongoing engagement with Procurement, Sourcing, Category Manager, and Sales to further develop and implement opportunities and optimization
- Formal direction from Merch leadership on departmental initiatives and related analytics
Skills:
- Logistics Expertise - In-depth knowledge of advanced transportation and logistics principles
- Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, and/or Tableau to perform data analysis and visualization
- Colleague consumable KPI analysis and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to share analyses with multiple teams
- Anticipatory mindset for the comprehensive data requirements of the greater logistics team
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or 3+ years of relevant logistics experience in lieu of a degree
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear.
- The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms.
