Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:

- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a solid customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Serve guests, stock grocery and liquor products, and face shelves.
- Monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
- Maintain a clean,



organized store by tidying shelves, bins, and displays; promptly addressing spills and breakages; and keeping aisles clear of debris.
- Perform cashier duties, including assisting customers, bagging groceries, and processing purchases.
- Maintain a safe environment while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items, such as liquor, tobacco, lottery, and fireworks.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

You are looking for a career opportunity in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following:

- Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
- Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
- Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Strongly service-oriented and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Able to obtain WHMIS and Serve it Right certifications.
- Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including lifting of 25-50lbs regularly, standing, walking, and kneeling.
- Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
- Flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
