Job Title : Senior Cloud Platform Developer 12-month contract | 3 days/week in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area | Rate : $90-100CAD/hour | Must hold a valid Canadian Work Visa Senior Cloud Platform Developer to help design, build, and evolve a modern This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role where you will operate as a senior individual contributor, working across into core systems, enabling product teams to deliver software faster and more safely. CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery. Implement observability, governance, and automation frameworks to ensure system performance, reliability, security, and compliance. Ensure platform systems are resilient, cost‑efficient, and optimized for performance.
Contribute to architectural decisions through design reviews, RFCs, and technical discussions. Mentor team members and contribute to overall engineering excellence.
Participate in operational readiness activities, incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
Strong programming experience in Python, Go, or C# , including building automation systems, controllers, or operators.
Experience building or supporting data platforms (ETL pipelines, streaming, batch processing, or MLOps systems). system performance, cost optimization, and troubleshooting complex distributed systems . Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver projects end‑to‑end. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams and influence decisions.
CNCF open‑source projects (CRDs, API machinery, and control plane development . Azure, AWS, or GCP . Strong technical documentation and writing skills.
