HC Production Associate

Major Responsibilities

- Adhere to all SOPs for the operation, QA and HSE.
- Weigh, measure, shred and pack cannabis material accurately into various containers following standard procedures.
- Ability to run hydrocarbon extractors during break coverage and conduct necessary PMs on all extractors on an as need basis.
- Maintenance of all hydrocarbon waste/spent material including production of destruction report.
- Identify improvement opportunities and report issues in order to maximize efficiency, quality and yield while ensuring safety and reliability.
- Track and record all downtime, collaborating with the maintenance crew to schedule maintenance activities and reduce downtime.
- Perform operational tasks such as equipment set up, troubleshooting milling equipment to minimize downtime.
- Communicate effectively with the previous and next shifts to ensure a smooth handoff for continuous production.
- Ensure timely batch record completion with high accuracy.
- Achieve daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in processes.
- Train & Signoff all recent employees or contractors as required.
- Coordinate the activities of full-time and temporary workers in your work area as assigned; ensuring training is conducted, SOPs are followed, resources are allocated correctly to meet daily objectives, and any deviations are reported to Supervisor.
- As required, assist in the Extraction room with set up of equipment and materials for extraction runs.




- Active participation in leading KPI discussion for material prep and destruction and achieve daily KPI production goals and indicate limitations in processes.
- Accurate input of feed preparation KPI data in the absence of supervisor or leadership including RCA.
- Keep accurate inventory control on processing material and lab supplies and notify leadership of order replenishment.
- Perform sanitation activities as per GPP requirements
- Ensure 100% compliance with QA requirements during day-to-day activities
- Train & Signoff all new employees or contractors as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- GED required, post-secondary education preferred.
- Cannabis and/or Manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience within Cannabis industry is an asset
- Mechanical inclination is an asset
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety while operating process equipment
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize
- Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn
- Must be able to work various shift schedules as required.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE (respirators, goggles, etc.)
- Physically fit; standing and/or sitting will be required for long periods of time, bending, twisting, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Required to pass a criminal background check

Day shift and Night shifts available. Please specify in your application which you prefer.

Night shift has a premium rate of $1.50/hour for working nights.
