Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Data Lead - Capital Markets Data Governance for a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at their downtown Toronto location (2-3 days per week). Must-Have Skills - 3-5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

- Strong Capital Markets experience with knowledge of Front Office workflows and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office Suite (Excel - VLOOKUP, pivot tables; Visio).
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Robust communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BCBS239, Dodd Frank, EMIR, MiFID, CAT NMS, and IIROC. Nice-to-Have Skills - Previous experience working in a Big 5 Canadian Bank or similar financial institution.
- Technical expertise in SQL, Databricks, Alteryx.
- Familiarity with Purview or other enterprise data management tools.
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or with testing and data quality rule implementation.
