DevSecOps Architect – Azure OpenShift
Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Architect with robust expertise in Azure, OpenShift/Kubernetes, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing enterprise-grade DevSecOps architecture, CI/CD solutions, GitOps strategies, security controls, and Infrastructure as Code frameworks for Azure OpenShift-based application environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise DevSecOps architecture for Azure OpenShift-based application deployments using GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
- Architect and develop reusable Terraform and ARM-based IaC modules for Azure Cloud resource provisioning.
- Define GitOps and one-click application deployment strategies for Azure OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Establish enterprise standards for branching, merging, release management, deployment, rollback, and promotion strategies.
- Define Artifactory and package management strategies for artifact, dependency, and container governance.
- Design and implement security and quality gates using GitHub Advanced Security, GitHub CodeQL, and related DevSecOps capabilities across CI/CD workflows.
- Provide hands-on leadership in implementing end-to-end CI/CD solutions for multiple application stacks, including:

- Develop automation using PowerShell, YAML, Terraform, and ARM templates.
- Conduct DevOps maturity assessments and develop target-state roadmaps for improving DevOps and DevSecOps maturity.
- Define and establish DevOps KPIs and DORA metrics to measure CI/CD and DevSecOps performance.
- Define monitoring, logging, auditing, and observability integrations for DevSecOps events and pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, architecture, and business teams in an Agile environment.
- Provide technical documentation, architecture diagrams, presentations, standards, and implementation guidelines.
- Effectively communicate technical strategies and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

- Experience with Git branching, release, rollback, and deployment strategies.
