Le rôle

Le ou la Chef·fe de pratique RS&DE; est la personne de référence pour la production des dossiers de crédits d'impôt RS&DE.; Il ou elle prend en charge des dossiers de bout en bout, de l'entrevue technique au dépôt, coordonne le travail des analystes et s'assure que chaque dossier sort au standard de la pratique et dans les délais. Le poste relève du Directeur Financement Innovation.

Notre pratique RS&DE; est jeune et grandit vite. C'est un rôle terrain pour quelqu'un qui aime la pratique RSDE, qui veut voir l'effet direct de son travail chez des entreprises innovantes, et qui préfère participer à la construction d'un département plutôt que d'en hériter.

Responsabilités

- Livrer des dossiers RS&DE; de bout en bout : entrevues techniques, rédaction des descriptions de projets, admissibilité des dépenses, coordination avec les comptables des clients, dépôt.
- Coordonner la production au quotidien : répartition des dossiers, suivi des échéances, priorisation, relance des informations manquantes auprès des clients.
- Revoir les dossiers des analystes avant dépôt et assurer l'uniformité de la méthodologie et des gabarits.
- Accompagner les clients lors d'une demande d'information ou d'une revue de l'Agence du revenu du Canada ou de Revenu Québec.
- Former et encadrer les analystes au quotidien, et participer à l'intégration des nouvelles recrues.
- Suivre le temps et l'avancement par dossier, et proposer des améliorations aux outils internes avec l'équipe technologie.
- Appuyer l'équipe de vente au besoin : validation de l'admissibilité d'un projet et estimation préliminaire des crédits.

Profil recherché

- 4 à 7 ans d'expérience en RS&DE;, en cabinet, en firme spécialisée ou en entreprise, avec au moins une vingtaine de dossiers livrés en financement de l'innovation.




- Formation en génie, sciences ou informatique; une expérience complémentaire en finance ou en comptabilité est un atout.
- Capacité à mener une entrevue technique avec des ingénieurs et des dirigeants et à en tirer une description de projet claire et défendable.
- Expérience de revue ou de coordination du travail d'autres analystes (atout marqué).
- Rigueur sur les échéances et aisance à mener plusieurs dossiers en parallèle.
- Communication directe et transparente avec les clients, y compris pour écarter un projet non admissible.
- Bilingue français et anglais (obligatoire).

Our SR&ED; practice (Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax credits) helps innovative companies claim their tax credits, alongside our grants services. It is one of our fastest-growing practices.

The Role The SR&ED; Practice Lead is the go-to person for SR&ED; claim production. They deliver claims end to end, from technical interview to filing, coordinate the analysts' work,



and make sure every claim meets the practice standard on time. The role reports to the Director of Innovation Funding.

Our SR&ED; practice is growing fast. The claims are coming in; the next step is building the machine that delivers them. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the subject matter, wants to see the direct impact of their work at innovative companies, and would rather help build a practice than inherit one.

Responsibilities

- Deliver SR&ED; claims end to end: technical interviews, project descriptions, expenditure eligibility, coordination with client accountants, filing.
- Coordinate day-to-day production: claim assignment, deadline tracking, prioritization, follow-up on missing client information.
- Review analyst claims before filing and keep methodology and templates consistent.
- Support clients through information requests or reviews by the Canada Revenue Agency or Revenu Québec.
- Train and coach analysts day to day, and help onboard new hires.
- Track time and progress per claim, and propose improvements to internal tools with the technology team.
- Support the sales team as needed: project eligibility validation and preliminary credit estimates.

What We're Looking For

- 4 to 7 years of SR&ED; experience in a professional services firm, specialized boutique or in-house role, with at least twenty claims delivered end to end.
- Degree in engineering, science or computer science; additional finance or accounting experience is an asset.
- Ability to lead a technical interview with engineers and executives and turn it into a transparent, defensible project description.
- Experience reviewing or coordinating other analysts' work (strong asset).
- Deadline discipline and comfort running several claims in parallel.
- Direct, transparent communication with clients, including turning down ineligible projects.
- Bilingual French and English (required).
