Work setting Private clinic Responsibilities Tasks Evaluate mobility, balance, gait and posture Examine the patient Observe the patient during the treatment Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints Adjust position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations, using manipulative therapy Provide additional treatment such as heat, red light and massage Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle and nutrition Implement treatment plans Credentials Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and Provincial Licensing Body Examination Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities Additional information Security and safety Must be eligible for professional liability insurance Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Manual dexterity Repetitive tasks Fast-paced environment Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing,
