Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Electrical Estimator at MeTiger Inc.

The Electrical

Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical estimates for construction projects, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bid proposals. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project drawings and specifications, analyzing electrical systems, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting cost control throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and engineering teams to clarify scope, address technical questions,



and ensure estimates align with project documentation and budget strategies.

The Electrical

Estimator will also assist with tender reviews, change order evaluations, and reporting to support accurate and transparent project financials.

Qualifications

- Strong Electrical Estimating skills, including quantity take-offs, pricing, and bid preparation.
- Knowledge of Cost Control practices related to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience in Electrical Contracting environments, with familiarity with construction workflows and tendering processes.
- Solid understanding of Electricity fundamentals and practical application in building systems.
- Background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training applicable to construction projects.
- Proficiency with estimating software and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, PDF mark-up tools).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in consulting or project management settings is an asset.
