This is a remote position.
PM61 | An Estoras Group Company | Remote, Canada
Opportunity type: Independent business-building partnership
Focus: CRM, ERP, enterprise technology, and transformation consulting
Initial phase: 90-day mutual validation and operating-plan period
Economics: Performance-based; no salary or guaranteed monthly income
This is not a conventional salaried executive or sales position. It is for an established independent consultant or boutique-firm leader who wants to build a larger consulting company with the support of PM61 and Estoras Group.
About PM61
PM61 is a global enterprise technology consultancy and implementation partner specializing in CRM and ERP solutions. We help organizations achieve measurable results through Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, systems integration, IT strategy and enterprise architecture, project management, custom development, and business architecture. PM61 serves private- and public-sector organizations across industries including retail, real estate, automotive, transportation, hospitality, and construction.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an entrepreneur who is already succeeding as an independent technology consultant, transformation advisor, implementation specialist, or owner of a small consulting practice. You may currently be a company of one: highly capable, trusted by clients, and able to win and deliver work, but limited by the amount of selling, delivery, administration, and leadership one person can carry. You are not seeking a guaranteed paycheque. You already understand variable consulting income, client development, and personal accountability. You now want a stronger platform from which to build: delivery capacity, strategic support, shared infrastructure, operating discipline, broader capabilities, and the opportunity to create enterprise value beyond your own billable hours.
The Prospect
The Managing Director / Operating Partner will combine their existing expertise, relationships, pipeline, and entrepreneurial drive with PM61's delivery capabilities and Estoras Group support to grow PM61 into a stronger, scalable professional-services company. This is broader than a business-development role. The successful partner will help define the market focus and service offering, originate and close suitable engagements, oversee client success and delivery economics, build a capable team, develop recurring revenue, and create repeatable systems that reduce dependence on any one individual.
What You Bring
• An active independent consulting practice, boutique firm, or comparable entrepreneurial track record in CRM, ERP, systems integration, cloud technology, enterprise architecture, project delivery, business analysis, or digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to win client trust, identify needs, shape solutions, close commercially sound work, and contribute directly to successful delivery.
- An existing network, client relationships, referral sources, qualified opportunities, or market reputation that can help create early momentum.
- Enough technical and commercial depth to judge scope, staffing, pricing, risk, delivery feasibility, and profitability.
- The desire and ability to hire, delegate, develop others, standardize delivery, and grow beyond solopreneurship.
- A transparent, collaborative leadership style and comfort being measured against pipeline, revenue, gross margin, cash flow, client results, and operating milestones.
What PM61 and Estoras Group Provide
• An established company platform and broader group environment designed to help capable operators build sustainable businesses.
- Access to PM61 specialists and complementary expertise across consulting, project management, architecture, implementation, and development.
- Strategic planning, leadership guidance, accountability rhythms,
and access to peer Managing Directors.
- Access, as agreed in the operating plan, to shared capabilities that may include finance and administration, marketing, systems, technology, business development, and other group resources.
- Opportunities for collaboration, referrals, larger engagements, and cross-company support where strategically appropriate.
- A pathway to long-term economic participation through performance-based compensation and potential ownership, governed by clear written terms.
Group support is intended to improve the business's capacity and probability of success; it is not a guarantee that PM61 or Estoras Group will fund a salary, monthly draw, operating losses, or a particular level of income.
Initial 90-Day Build Phase
• Map the partner's current practice, capabilities, relationships, pipeline, intellectual property, delivery commitments, and potential conflicts, and agree what - if anything - will be integrated into PM61 under a separate written plan.
- Become fully familiar with PM61's services, team capabilities, partner relationships, delivery model, and target markets.
- Define the priority market position, ideal clients, service offers, pricing approach, commercial model, and go-to-market plan.
- Activate the partner's existing relationships and develop a documented, qualified pipeline.
- Lead discovery, scope and proposal development, and close suitable paying engagements with sound delivery and margin assumptions.
- Establish a resource and delivery-capacity plan so new work can be fulfilled without recreating a one-person bottleneck.
- Implement weekly KPIs, monthly forecasts, and a practical accountability cadence covering pipeline, proposals, wins, delivery, revenue, margin, and cash flow.
- Deliver an agreed 6- to 12-month plan for revenue growth, team development, recurring services, partnerships, and operating scale.
Core Responsibilities
Business Development and Market Growth
• Develop and execute PM61's market, business-development, and account-growth strategy.
- Identify target industries, accounts, strategic partners, referral sources, and commercially attractive opportunities.
- Generate, qualify, advance, negotiate, and close client engagements.
- Build trusted relationships with executive decision-makers and use professional credibility and existing networks to open doors.
- Develop recurring services, account expansion, partnership, and referral opportunities.
Client, Delivery, and Commercial Leadership
• Lead discovery and align client needs with PM61's delivery capabilities and commercial objectives.
- Coordinate proposals, statements of work, pricing, staffing, delivery assumptions, contracting, and project handoffs.
- Work closely with consultants, project managers, architects, analysts, developers, and implementation specialists.
- Remain accountable for senior client relationships, client satisfaction, delivery economics, risk visibility, retention, and expansion.
- Ensure every engagement is realistic, professionally delivered, commercially sound, and aligned with available capacity.
Company Building and Operating Discipline
• Build a lean team and partner network as earned revenue supports additional capacity.
- Create repeatable sales, scoping, delivery, quality, reporting, and account-management systems.
- Own forecasts, budgets, cost control, utilization, gross margin, cash-flow awareness, and operating performance.
- Set clear goals, scorecards,
priorities, decision records, risk logs, and reporting rhythms.
- Provide transparent updates to Estoras Group leadership and contribute to broader group planning and collaboration.
PM61 Service Areas
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployments.
- Salesforce implementations, including SMBForce.
- IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
- Systems integration and cloud technology.
- IT project and program management.
- Custom software development.
- Business architecture, business analysis, and transformation advisory.
- Training, support, managed services, and ongoing client services.
Requirements
Ideal Background
• Founder, owner-operator, independent consultant, boutique consultancy leader, Managing Director, or senior professional-services operator.
- Proven success originating, shaping, negotiating, closing, and delivering B2B consulting or enterprise-technology engagements.
- Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, systems integration, cloud technology, enterprise transformation, or adjacent advisory services.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, enterprise architecture, public-sector procurement, systems integration, project/program delivery, or contractor-led teams is an asset.
How Success Will Be Measured
• Qualified opportunities, pipeline value and quality, proposals submitted, and win rate.
- New clients, strategic partners, referral sources, and account expansion.
- Client revenue collected, project gross margin, positive cash flow, and forecast accuracy.
- Client satisfaction, retention, delivery quality, risk management, and repeat business.
- Team capacity, delegation, repeatable systems, and reduced dependence on one person's billable time.
- Quality and consistency of leadership, reporting, collaboration, and execution against agreed milestones.
Economics and Potential Ownership
• There is no salary, monthly retainer, guaranteed draw, guaranteed number of hours, or guaranteed monthly income attached to this opportunity.
- Earnings may include agreed commissions, revenue share, gross-margin participation, project or delivery income, profit participation, or milestone compensation. The mix will depend on the operating plan and will be documented in writing.
- Payments will generally be tied to revenue actually collected, realized gross margin, completed work, or other defined results - not activity alone or the signing of a contract by itself.
- The Operating Partner may earn project-based income by personally delivering approved work when qualified and required, subject to the agreed scope, rate, delivery standards, and client payment.
- Only pre-approved business expenses will be reimbursed under the written agreement.
- Potential equity or another ownership interest may be earned through a milestone-based vesting arrangement. Ownership is not automatic and will depend on performance, mutual fit, formal approvals, and definitive agreements.
- Any formal appointment as Managing Director or corporate director will occur only after the validation phase, required approvals, and execution of the applicable agreements.
The right person will view this as an opportunity to convert an existing consulting capability into a real company: broader than one person's network, stronger than one person's delivery capacity, and more valuable than a solo practice.
How to Apply
Please tell us what consulting work you are already doing, the clients and outcomes you have supported (without disclosing confidential information), the network or capabilities you would bring, why you want to move beyond solopreneurship, and what you believe you could accomplish with PM61 and Estoras Group during the first 90 days.
