Excel Add-in Developer Full-time (Remote) Remote Full Time We are looking for an engineer to help build and maintain Excel add-ins that power our trading simulations and reporting workflows. You’ll work on both VBA macros and C# add-ins (.xlam, .xll, Excel-DNA), adding new features, improving performance, and ensuring compatibility with modern Excel environments.

Responsibilities Excel Add-ins - Develop and maintain Excel add-ins using VBA and C#.

- Add new features (e.g., option contract support, trading functions).
- Refactor legacy ‘.xlsm’ code into ‘.xlam’ add-ins where possible.
- Ensure compatibility across VBA, C#, and modern Office add-in frameworks. Integration & APIs - Connect Excel add-ins to databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and external APIs.
- Support integration with C# backend logic and contemporary add-in components.



Testing & Documentation - Write user guides and developer handoff documentation.
- Ensure performance and reliability in production Excel environments.

Requirements Must-Have Skills:

- C#/.NET experience with Excel add-ins (.xll, Excel-DNA).
- Familiarity with Excel object model (worksheets, ranges, tables).
- Debugging and troubleshooting Excel automation.
- Git/GitHub workflows. Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with TWS API or other financial data APIs.
- Knowledge of trading/financial data workflows.
- Basic SQL for database-connected macros and add-ins.

Eligible applicants must be

- Graduated from electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a closely related program.
