About the RoleWe are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our team in Canada. The successful candidate will analyze business data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate complex information into clear insights that support informed business decisions.

This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving business performance through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and reporting requirements.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and data reconciliation.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular business performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes using data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with business, technology, finance, operations, and other relevant teams.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support forecasting, performance analysis, and ad-hoc analytical projects.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in business or data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Experience with SQL and working with structured datasets.




- Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to explain technical or analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an asset.
- Experience working in Agile or cross-functional environments is an asset.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: CAD $75,000 – $105,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
