HRIS Analyst | 6-Month Contract with Strong Path to Permanent | Montreal, QC

Soho Square Solutions is hiring an HRIS Analyst for a global financial services firm in downtown Montreal. This is a hands-on, operational role supporting HR systems for a workforce of roughly 7,500 employees across Canada, the US, and Latin America.

You'll work across seven channels in a single day: ticketing, the HR mailbox, Jira, BAU tasks, system configuration, UAT testing, and SME advisory. PeopleSoft is the core system, and the pace is fast.

What you'll do

- Configure and troubleshoot PeopleSoft: mapping tables, flag changes, Level 1 functional and technical support
- Gather acceptance criteria and own UAT sign-off on system changes
- Manage a high volume of daily requests across multiple channels without losing accuracy
- Build working relationships across HR and IT
- Communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Take ownership of tasks and projects end to end

What you bring





- 4+ years of HRIS experience; 5-7 years preferred
- Hands-on PeopleSoft configuration experience
- UAT testing and sign-off experience
- Experience leading a project and owning its outcomes
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI and Jira experience a plus
- Comfortable switching between tasks quickly in a high-throughput setting
- English required; Spanish a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required for the right experience
- Global company experience a plus; banking background not required

The details

- 6-month contract with strong potential to convert to permanent
- Onsite 3 days a week, including Monday or Friday
- Must be local to downtown Montreal
- Fast-moving process; target onboarding of about two weeks
