Dallan currently has an open AZ Truck Driver position available, hauling rough lumber using a flat deck trailer, hauling mill residuals such as dust, chips and bark with a chip van and driving tri-axle dump trucks hauling waste material (ash, sludge) locally in the Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.

Position Details: FULL-TIME POSITION – Licensed AZ Truck Driver

LOCATION – Thunder Bay

COMPENSATION – $34.49 Per Hour,



Pension and Benefits The successful candidate will have overtime opportunities available for alternative runs; all runs are local or within Northern Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform pre-trip inspections, maintenance as required and report issues to immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to all M.T.O. regulations including weight requirements.
- Comply with all Safety Procedures, Policies and Programs.
- Lastly, strap lumber for protected travel.

Qualifications

- Must have a valid AZ license with a clean abstract - Must be able to provide a criminal records check - We highly value candidates with log-hauling experience.
- Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or traffic.
- We look for safety-minded, customer-focused self-starters with strong communication skills.
