Seasonal: ASAP – October Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lubricant Technician / Fueler to support our heavy equipment fleet at a remote placer gold mining operation in the Yukon. This role is critical to keeping equipment running safely and efficiently through proper fueling, lubrication, and daily servicing along with other yard duties when required.
Key Responsibilities - Fuel and lubricate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, rock trucks, and support equipment - Perform daily servicing and fluid checks (engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, transmission fluids, greasing) - Operate fuel and lube trucks safely and efficiently - Maintain clean, accurate service and fueling records - Monitor fluid usage and report equipment issues or leaks to the maintenance team - Follow all site safety procedures, environmental guidelines,
and spill-prevention protocols - Assist mechanics and equipment operators as required - Other camp/yard duties when required Qualifications &
Requirements - Valid Air Brake Endorsement (Required) - Valid driver’s license - Experience fueling and servicing heavy equipment (mining, construction, or oilfield preferred) - Knowledge of lubrication systems and fluid handling - Ability to work long hours in a remote camp workplace - Strong attention to safety and environmental responsibility - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Assets - Previous placer mining or remote camp experience - WHMIS, TDG, or First Aid certification - Mechanical aptitude or maintenance background Ability to commit for the remainder of the 2026 season term without a regular rotational turnaround schedule.
