The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Projects lead the planning and delivery of Pure Flavor’s IT infrastructure projects, from initial scoping and technical design through implementation and hand-off, across our Canadian and US sites. This role owns project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communication, and manages and develops the infrastructure team that both delivers this project work and keeps the resulting systems running reliably day to day. The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Projects bring a strong technical foundation in infrastructure and network architecture and translates that expertise into well-run projects, dependable ongoing operations, and a high-performing team, partnering closely with IT leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Delivery

- Plan, lead, and deliver IT infrastructure projects, including scope definition, timelines, budget, and resource management.
- Own project execution end-to-end, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, and production hand-off.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver solutions on schedule, providing clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, escalating and resolving blockers as they arise.
- Maintain a project roadmap and prioritize the infrastructure project portfolio in partnership with IT leadership.
- Define and track success criteria for projects, ensuring solutions are delivered to scope, on time, and within budget.

Team Management

- Supervise, mentor, and develop infrastructure team members, setting clear goals and supporting their growth.
- Assign and prioritize workload across the team to balance project delivery and operational obligations.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture and support onboarding of new team members.

Technical Design & Site Planning

- Architect and design corporate network topologies for new sites, expansions, and renovations, including cabling paths, switch/AP placement, and server and telecom room requirements. Read and work directly from architectural and construction blueprints and floor plans to plan IT infrastructure ahead of and during builds.
- Partner with the business - Facilities, Security, and other departments — to develop functional plans covering physical security (access control,



cameras, badge readers) and device/workstation layouts for new or renovated spaces.
- Translate site and construction plans into technical specifications, equipment lists, and installation sequencing for project teams and contractors.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure projects, including scoping, contracting support, and delivery accountability.
- Partner with other IT and business teams to gather requirements and ensure infrastructure initiatives align with organizational needs.

Infrastructure Operations

- Set direction and standards for infrastructure systems, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring what is delivered through project work is also reliable and supportable long term.
- Oversee ongoing performance, availability, and health of infrastructure systems handed off from completed projects, coordinating with the broader IT team on day-to-day support and escalations.
- Ensure infrastructure operations follow established security, backup/disaster recovery, and change management practices.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

- Maintain documentation for infrastructure projects and systems, including scope, network diagrams, architecture decisions, and operational runbooks.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and infrastructure operational standards.
- Other core expectations as defined by the company.

Qualifications:

- Completion of secondary school (high school diploma or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of five(5)+ years of technical experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading IT projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, budgeting, and delivery, required.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure (networking, servers, systems administration, cloud platforms, or a related area), including the ability to architect network designs and read architectural/construction blueprints and floor plans, required.
- Ability to self-manage multiple concurrent projects and lead delivery from initiation through hand-off, required.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical work for non-technical stakeholders and report project status to leadership, required.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals (security, backup/disaster recovery, system monitoring) sufficient to guide technical project decisions and oversee ongoing operations, required.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information, required.
- Valid passport and citizenship are required.




- Eligible to work in both Canada and the United States under a company-sponsored visa, frequent travel is required.
- Prior people management experience; strong candidates ready to take on their first management role will also be considered.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, and endpoint management platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune), preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience considered an asset.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., Azure) and IT service management tools, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work in a team environment with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy, as well as consistent follow-through skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment:

- Hours of work may vary depending on business needs including on-call.
- Ability and willingness to travel without restrictions, including cross-border travel between Canada and the United States.
- Regular on-site presence at an assigned location; support may be provided to other company sites as needed.
- Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting for prolonged periods is required.”
- May work occasionally within a refrigerated warehouse, where temperatures range from 45-55°F. The noise level in the work environment can be loud due to packaging machinery, and forklift truck operation.
- Position may require lifting up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience, skills, and internal equity.
