Must be available for a minimum of 1 to 4 days per week. Must be available all shifts which include, short shifts, short notice calls, statutory or designated holidays.

Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No : In collaboration with physicians and the Primary Care Team, the Nurse Practitioner will provide primary health care services to several communities.

This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; conducting community needs assessments and participating in evaluative projects.



The incumbent reports to the Director of Primary Care.

Human Resources Exemption: No Education - Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) Licenses - Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN(NP))

- Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training - Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS) Knowledge and Abilities - Knowledge in research processes and program evaluation
- Knowledge in community development and facilitation strategies
- Knowledge in conflict resolution techniques
- Knowledge in principles/practices/concepts of primary health care Other Information - Spiritwood is located approximately 126 km west of Prince Albert
