Engage with children and youth at Monarch House as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Implement impactful interventions for clients with autism and developmental delays in a supportive team workplace. In this full-time role, you will execute treatment plans designed by a Registered Occupational Therapist.
Your responsibilities include communication with families, preparing teaching materials, and ensuring a safe, engaging atmosphere for clients. This position empowers you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you assist. Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate progress with families and supervisors
- Implement treatment plans based on best practices
- Prepare teaching materials and organize teaching spaces
- Create a positive environment for client engagement
- Track client progress through data collection Requirements:
- Completion of coursework in Occupational Therapy
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an OTA preferred
