Sussex Strategy Group is seeking a Paid Media Advisor to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital ad campaigns for our clients. The ideal candidate is an analytical and creative thinker with a solid understanding of digital media buying, audience targeting, and campaign performance tracking across various platforms.
Ways You Can Contribute
- Develop and implement digital advertising strategies to support public affairs and advocacy campaigns.
- Plan, execute, and manage paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, X (Twitter), OOH, Reddit, and other programmatic ad networks.
- Conduct audience research and segmentation to ensure targeted and effective campaign delivery.
- Optimize ad performance through A/B testing, bid adjustments, and creative iterations.
- Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using analytics tools including Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Centre and other relevant platforms.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including creative, public affairs, and strategic communications, to align advertising strategies with overall campaign objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices to ensure our campaigns are innovative and cutting edge.
- Ensure all digital ad campaigns comply with industry regulations, platform policies, and client guidelines.
Who You Are
- 5+ years experience in digital advertising, paid media, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other digital advertising platforms.
- Hands-on experience with audience targeting, conversion tracking, and data-driven campaign optimization ideally in an agency environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign performance data to drive decision-making.
- Experience with budgeting, bid strategies, and campaign forecasting.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Familiarity with government relations, advocacy, or public affairs campaigns is considered a strong asset.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- Demonstrated project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior agency experience is considered a solid asset.
Pay Grade: $75,000 - 95,000 (commensurate with experience)
