Farnsworth Group is seeking a Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to the General Counsel across contract, claims, insurance, corporate, and other legal matters. Posting Locations: Champaign, IL

- St. Louis, MO What You’ll Do:
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, routing, tracking, execution, filing, and maintenance of client, consultant, vendor, and other business agreements.
- Maintain the contract-management system and ensure agreements, amendments, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
- Assist with reviewing, comparing, revising, and redlining contracts and related legal documents.
- Support professional-services and construction-related claims by organizing claim files, project records, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
- Track and maintain insurance policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and contractual insurance requirements.
- Assist with corporate records, entity documentation, governance materials, registrations, and related filings.
- Coordinate legal department administrative activities, including calendar and deadline tracking, document filing, records retention, meeting support, invoice processing, and follow-up on action items.
- Prepare, proofread, format, and organize contracts, correspondence, reports, presentations, and other legal or business documents.
- Maintain the confidentiality of privileged, proprietary, personal, and sensitive business information.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate.
- 10–15 years of paralegal or closely related legal-support experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting an architecture, engineering, construction, or other professional-services organization.
- Experience managing contracts and maintaining contract records throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Experience using a contract-management system, legal matter-management platform, or comparable document-management system.
- Experience supporting claims and claims-management activities, particularly professional-services, professional-liability, construction, or project-related claims.
- Experience working with insurance policies, certificates of insurance, endorsements, and contractual insurance requirements.
- Strong organizational, written communication, time-management, attention-to-detail, confidentiality, and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Nice To Haves: (optional; not all jobs will have this separate list)
- Experience reviewing, revising, and redlining client, consultant, vendor, confidentiality, and other commercial agreements.
- Familiarity with corporate records, entity administration, and corporate-governance documentation.
- Experience supporting an in-house Legal, Risk Management, or professional-liability function within an AEC or professional-services organization.

Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
