We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician who reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time, maintaining adequate inventory, counseling patients, and providing a friendly, positive experience to internal and external customers. What you’ll do - Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients - Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs - Provide counseling to patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, pro‑active manner - Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities (public health days, clinics, etc.) - Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctor requests/issues - Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary) - Provide ongoing training for new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s)



What you’ll need - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license – a must - Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism - Excellent leadership and performance‑management skills - Proven ability to build the business using community‑based marketing strategies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong problem‑solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans - Solid personal computing skills, and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy Computer System – a definite asset We have a long‑standing focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.
