Precision metal bending excites you, and you're looking for a stable place where your work takes shape? 40h/week • Daytime • Permanent Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 5pm

Friday: 7:30am to 12pm Summer Friday afternoons off! $22 to $30 per hour, based on skills and experience.

- Potential advancement to a senior operator role or CNC programming

- Work clothes provided, including a pair of boots every year Reporting to the team lead, you perform sheet metal forming according to plans and the company's quality standards. Your day-to-day tasks:
- Reading plans and adjusting the press accordingly
- Selecting and installing the appropriate tools and dies
- Programming and operating the press brake for sheet metal bending
- Loading and unloading sheets and metal parts
- Checking bend accuracy with measuring instruments (calipers, angle protractor)
- Getting the first piece approved and adjusting jigs before production
- Performing quality control on formed parts
- Carrying out preventive maintenance and reporting any issues
- Keeping a clean and safe workstation Reporting to the team lead, you perform sheet metal forming according to plans and the company's quality standards. Your day-to-day tasks:

- Keeping a clean and secure workstation What we're looking for: Ability to read plans, computer proficiency and CNC programming basics. Knowledge of metric/imperial systems and measuring instruments. Precision, accuracy and attention to detail. 1 to 2 years of experience; sheet metal knowledge is an asset. Your own basic tool set.
