Crafted Highlights:

In the role of Process Lead – Production Services working in The Fraser Valley Brewery, Chilliwack BC. Provides leadership for optimizing efficiency in the areas of planning and scheduling.

You are responsible for utilizing best practices and processes which contribute to world class standards of operation. You will lead the preparation and development of the brewery production throughput plan and be the liaison for the brewery between corporate planning and scheduling.

This position reports to Technical Services Manager and works closely with Line Lead, Process Lead, Skilled Trades, & Operators.

What You’ll Be Brewing:

- Ensures brew, package and shipping plans are optimized for customer service in conjunction with the run strategy.
- Ensures brew, package and shipping plans are optimized for total lowest cost execution.
- Updates and advises brewery leadership on current and future production plans and volumes.




- Leads the preparation of daily production schedules to direct plant personnel to produce proper product for today’s immediate order demands.
- Monitors performance against plans, communicates deviations to corporate planning and scheduling and modifies production schedules as appropriate.
- Facilitates and coordinates brewery shutdowns, both planned (e.g. holidays) and unplanned (e.g. contingency for weather).
- Responsible for finished goods inventory levels and oversight for minimizing aging beer and aging beer sources
- Ensure communications between corporate planning and the brewery
- Responsible for building a winning team by role modeling Critical Success Factors and work principles and practices, leading and ensuring full leverage of all people management processes.

Key Ingredients:

- BS or BA in business/technical field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of scheduling in a manufacturing setting
- Thorough knowledge of the production flow including brewing capabilities, packaging capabilities, shipping constraints, corporate policy and procedures regarding customer orders is necessary.
- Broad based conceptual and leadership skills to develop and direct individuals and departments involved in diverse activities.
- Comprehensive understanding of major manufacturing processes




- Working knowledge of human resources, quality services, corporate finance, economics and marketing and sales.
- Exceptional interpersonal, consulting, delegation and facilitation skills to be able to effectively work with senior management in the development and implementation of overall Division strategies.
- Sound skills in written and oral communications in order to relate to all levels of operations, corporate and supplier contacts
- You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
