Join Queen's University as an Assistant Professor dedicated to teaching in the Occupational Therapy Program. This role is ideal for those passionate about fostering student learning and engaging in meaningful research initiatives. The School of Rehabilitation Therapy is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor focused predominantly on teaching within the Occupational Therapy Program.
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent and be eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario. You'll play an essential role in shaping curriculum and innovating educational practices while engaging with a diverse student body. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and teach key courses in Occupational Therapy
- Supervise and mentor graduate students in their research
- Innovate and develop educational materials and assessments
- Participate in experiential learning through community engagement
- Provide service at the departmental and university levels Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent, completed by appointment start date
- Registration as an Occupational Therapist in Ontario
- Proven record of excellence in teaching
- Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
