Job Summary: The Regional Engineer will support the sales team and manage the technical aspects of engineered products within a specific region. This role involves working closely with customers, sales teams, and engineering teams to ensure that products meet client specifications and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

- Provide technical support to the sales team during pre-sales activities.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and presentations.
- Address technical inquiries from clients and provide solutions.

1. Customer Interaction:

- Work directly with customers to understand their technical needs and requirements.
- Work with customer to develop or update product specifications.
- Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and gather information for project proposals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

1. Product Expertise:

- Develop a deep understanding of the company's engineered products and solutions.
- Stay updated on product developments and enhancements.
- Train the sales team on the technical aspects of products.

1. Project Management:

- Oversee the technical aspects of projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Manage project documentation and ensure all technical details are accurately recorded.




- Support the sales team by helping defining project scope and managing project risk

1. Sales Support:

- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for engineered products.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies and plans.
- Support the sales team in achieving regional sales targets.
- Provide technical presentations
- Support promotional activities (LNL’s, sales calls, conferences, tradeshows)
- Participate in Industry Related Committees as required (ASTM, CSA, AASHTO, etc..)

1. Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that all engineered products meet company and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Provide feedback to the engineering team for product improvements.

1. Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales support or engineering role.
- Solid understanding of engineered products and solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.

Preferred Skills:

- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in a sales engineering role.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with CRM software
