Play a vital role in political advocacy as the Regional Officer for Political Communications with the Public Service Alliance of Canada in Ottawa. This full-time, bilingual position emphasizes strategic communication in both French and English. In this position, you will provide crucial support to the Regional Executive Vice-President and contribute to the strategies presented to members.

A blend of education and at least three years of experience in communications or a related field is essential. Candidates should be adept in media relations and have a solid grasp of the operational structures within the PSAC. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Regional Executive Vice-President with communication strategies
- Craft compelling messages for various media




- Mobilize union members through strategic initiatives
- Analyze political developments impacting PSAC
- Create communication materials in English and French Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency (English, French) at CEFR Level B2
- Relevant post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience in communications or public relations
- Robust political and union issue knowledge
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills Utilize your communication skills to drive the political agenda and strengthen PSAC’s voice in the community.
