QUALIFICATIONS - Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario

- Current CPR
- Successful completion of Medication Administration and Asepsis Courses
- Competencies in initiating IV Therapy
- Good physical health
- Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill, and judgment
- Above-average skills in physical assessments
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Proven desire and ability to work in a collaborative (RPN/RN) team practice




- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including superior verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the College of Nurses and Hospital’s Codes of Conduct
- Proven attendance record
- Willing to work flexible schedule, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) Incentive: This position may be eligible for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), which provides a $25,000 incentive to qualified nurses who commit to a two-year, full-time employment term in an eligible health-care organization. Applicants must meet CCPN eligibility requirements, including holding a valid certificate of registration and not having been employed as a nurse in Ontario within the previous six months.
