Position: Part Time, Remote

Ethos Market Research is seeking experienced Sales Associates with a strong and demonstrated background selling to Canadian businesses and communicating with Canadian decision makers.

This is not an entry level sales position. Candidates must have substantial experience working with the Canadian business market and be able to communicate professionally and confidently with business owners, managers, directors and senior executives.

Required Experience• Minimum 3+ years of professional sales, business development, account management or client development experience

- Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience selling to, servicing, managing or developing relationships with Canadian businesses and Canadian business decision makers
- Extensive familiarity with Canadian business communication, sales expectations, skilled etiquette and client relationship practices
- Demonstrated understanding of how Canadian companies evaluate vendors, professional services and purchasing decisions
- Proven experience conducting outbound B2B prospecting, including telephone outreach, email outreach and virtual meetings
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with Canadian business owners, executives, managers, directors and other decision makers
- Strong track record of maintaining professional business relationships over an extended period

Communication Requirements• Exceptional professional written and spoken English

- Ability to communicate naturally, clearly and confidently with Canadian business clients
- Excellent professional telephone communication skills
- Ability to independently write polished sales emails, follow ups, proposals and client communications
- Strong understanding of Canadian business terminology and professional communication standards





Canadian Market KnowledgeCandidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of the Canadian business environment, including:

- Canadian business culture and communication expectations
- B2B sales practices in Canada
- Canadian client expectations and professional etiquette
- Working with Canadian companies and decision makers
- Building long term business relationships within the Canadian market

Additional Requirements• Currently reside in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, or Newfoundland and Labrador

- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Reliable computer and high speed internet connection
- Professional remote work environment

Preferred Background• Experience selling professional services

- Experience in market research, consulting, marketing, technology, data, advertising or related B2B industries
- Existing professional network within the Canadian business community is an asset

Candidate AssessmentShortlisted candidates will be required to complete:

- A professional English business writing assessment
- A simulated outbound sales call with a Canadian business prospect
- A Canadian business communication and market knowledge assessment
- A structured interview focused on previous experience selling to and working with Canadian companies
